The pub’s decor looks outdated, with cobwebs in light fixtures and noise from the kitchen interrupting peace!!! Parking options are inconvenient, with restricted areas making it a real hassle to find a spot nearby!!!

Comfortable stay with excellent breakfast
I had a wonderful one-night stay in a cozy Double Room with Bathroom, featuring a lovely view of the estuary. The warm atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home, and the breakfast with fresh local ingredients was a highlight that I thoroughly enjoyed. parking can be a bit tricky since the nearest lot is a short walk away.

had a warm welcome on arrival and the staff were super friendly. my room was so cozy with a lovely view of the estuary. the bed was comfy and the shower in the bathroom was great. breakfast was amazin, really fresh local ingredients!
the sash windows rattled all night from the wind, which disturbed my sleep. also, parking was a bit of a hassle since the car park was a 5-min walk away.

Had an awesome stay with my friends! We enjoyed the cozy rooms, had some great pints at the bar, and the breakfast was solid. We checked out Enys Gardens and Castle Beach, both are must-sees. Just a heads up, parking can be tricky if you arrive late, so plan accordingly!
One downside was the cleanliness issues. there was some mildew on the window which could've been avoided.

missingWrote a review on 06 Augcozy environmentspotless linenadequate amenitiesnoise levels
The double room provided a cozy environment, complete with spotless bed linen and a lovely hot shower. The bathroom amenities were adequate, sporting plenty of fresh towels, although a few more hooks would have made things easier.
Parking was a bit of a hassle, reliant on finding a spot on the street which can be tricky, especially during peak times. The pub below had noise levels that traveled up to the rooms, and the outdated decor created an uncomfortable dining atmosphere, lacking warmth during the meals. there were some noticeable cobwebs in the light fixtures in common areas, which hinted at a need for more frequent cleaning. The musty smell from previous leaks in the room was quite off-putting, making the stay feel less than fresh.

Friendly vibes and yummy food
I had a great time at this place! The staff were super chill, making me feel right at home. Adele was a star, helping me with my bags and getting me sorted with a ride to the car park. The breakfast? YUM! Only thing was, it could get a bit noisy at night, but that's part of the pub charm.
